In Memory
The end of 2025 was a tough one.
December had us say goodbye to our precious "Denny Lou". Denny had been a treasured part of our family since 2008 and was the start of Visionary Welsh. I will forever miss her whinny when she saw me walk out of the house and how she was the boss mare in any pasture she was in. She was my all time favorite pony and is going to be greatly missed.
In October, we had to say goodbye to our beautiful two year old Section A colt, Alvesta Alvaro due to health complications. We had big dreams for Alvaro, and although only had him for two years, he made a big impact on my life and the farm is too quiet without him.

September 2025
The young fillies have been great subjects to practice our photography skills on.
Pictured to the left at 2.5 weeks old is Visionary Lady Rose (Nistar Blazing Kansas LOM AOE x Lochinvar Rose Queen) and below at 4mos of age is Visionary Victoria (Nistar Blazing Kansas LOM AOE x Lochinvar Vanity Fair).

August 2025
I keep pinching myself to make sure this filly is real, but here she is! A beautiful Section A Welsh Mountain pony filly sired by Nistar Blazing Kansas LOM AOE and out of multiple reserve Supreme Ch mare, Lochinvar Rose Queen.
Pictured at one day old and still unfolding.
October 2024
Visionary Welsh is excited to announce that both Lochinvar Vanity Fair (2021 Reserve WPCSA National Champion Section A filly) and Lochinvar Rose Queen (multiple reserve supreme and grand champion) are both confirmed in-foal to Nistar Blazing Kansas LOM AOE (pictured to the left).
We look forward to the 2025 foaling and show season!

August 2024
The double silver show at the Heartland Welsh Club in Indiana was such a fun atmosphere! While the Section A entries were down (3 breeding age animals and 2 A geldings), our show is growing.
Lochinvar Rose Queen was double 1st Section A mare under both judges (out of two entries) on both days.
She was also Double Reserve Grand Champion Section A, under both judges on both days (out of three entries).
Heritage Hall Razzle Dazzle, at 25 years old, was double 2nd in his Section A gelding class (out of two entries) on both days and also showed our son to some great placings in junior handler, leadline, and leadline walk-trot.

November 2023
We are over the moon to announce the arrival of the 2023 palomino Section A Welsh Mountain pony colt, Alvesta Alvaro!
Alvaro comes from Alberta, Canada from the well known Alvesta Stud.
His sire, *Sunwillow Alfonso was imported from the UK and his dam is Alvesta Gwyeth, a beautiful daughter of the imported stallion *Nerwyn Gwyn.
